David M. King is the Director of Energy Policy within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Energy, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health (SAF/IEE), Pentagon, Washington, D.C.  Mr. King develops Air Force energy policy, and provides programmatic oversight, guidance and direction for all matters related to Air Force energy.  Mr. King is also responsible for promulgating the institutionalization of the Air Force Energy Strategic Plan, which aims to ‘reduce demand, increase supply and change the culture’ by ‘making energy a consideration in all we do.’  Mr. King hold a BS from the Air Force Academy and Masters Degrees in Education and in Logistics.
