Conferences
Distance Learning and Professional Education partners with other Georgia Tech units to execute successful and diverse conferences at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center (GLC) or off-campus sites.
Select the conference package that works best for you. We can provide the following services:
- Consulting: Our proven conference team will help you develop the strategy, implement best practices, and find ways to save money, time, and resources.
- Registration services: Our experienced registration team will provide consultation services before and during the registration setup process. Additionally, they will send balance-due and reminder email notifications, review participant data entry prior to the start of the event, prepare name badges, provide staff for walk-in registration*, and process and reconcile participant registration fees and merchandise purchases.
- Web-based registration tool: A flexible and robust tool will be used to manage your conference. Standard and custom reports are available to you from the time of activation through the close of the conference. Multiple registration types, group registrations, workshop options, and most types of discounts are easily managed with the registration tool. In addition, guest / companion information and ticket and merchandise purchases are easily accessible to both you and the participants.
- Conference management/logistics: Our dedicated, program coordination staff will support your special needs, including managing logistics, securing catering and materials needs, and arranging for hotel accommodations.
- Accounting services: Our financial staff reconciles and prepares your P&L reports; processes conference-related invoices, per diem expenses, travel, and honorarium payments; distributes procurement card charges; and transfers and books fees.
- Marketing (optional): Marketing support is available for an additional fee. We can assist you in executing a marketing plan to reach your target audience. Fees for marketing services will vary depending on the scope of the marketing plan and type of support needed (e.g., marketing planning / consulting, editorial services, graphic design, email, website development, photography, third party vendor management, etc.).
*Off-site support at locations other than the GLC cannot always be guaranteed.
