We do not offer a standard discount structure for all of our programs. Any available discounts are determined on a course-by-course basis at the discretion of the academic administrator.

During Your Course

1. Where is my course located?

Most Georgia Tech Professional Education courses are held at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center.

We also hold select courses at off campus locations. Refer to your course brochure or Web page to determine your course location. You may also obtain the course location information from your confirmation letter.

2. How does my office get in touch with me during a course?

At each location, a message number is given on the first day of class should your co-workers need to contact you during regular business hours. Your co-workers may also call 855-812-5309 to relay a message to you.

3. What if I need to leave the course due to an emergency?

We may either transfer you to the next offering of the course or refund your registration fees.

4. May I bring my cell phone or pager?

You may bring your cell phone or pager. Please use them only in break areas. Also, turn the ringers off and set pagers to vibrate to minimize class disruptions.

5. Where do I park? Is there a charge?

The Technology Square parking deck is attached to the Global Learning Center and is convenient and accessible from Spring Street. Hourly rates range from $2 per hour to $10 per day.

6. How do I get to the airport?

Use Atlanta’s commuter rail line, MARTA
We recommend using MARTA for transportation to and from the airport. The airport station is on the same line with the MARTA station closest to the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, so you can stay on the same southbound train. Average travel time between the Midtown Station and airport is 22 minutes. One-way fare is $1.75.

Visit the MARTA Web site for additional information, or ask our concierge when you arrive.

If going by car
From the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, exit the parking deck and head south on Spring Street until you reach on ramp for Interstate 75/85 South. The highway splits in approximately six miles—continue on I-85 South. From I-85 South, take Exit 72, Camp Creek Parkway/Atlanta Airport. Follow the airport signs to find your terminal.

Note: The airport is only 13 miles from the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, however traffic conditions fluctuate greatly and may cause delays. If traffic is light, then travel time to the airport about 20 to 25 minutes. If you are traveling to the airport during a weekday afternoon (anytime after 3 p.m.), you are headed in the same direction as our rush-hour commuter traffic. Travel time to the airport will increase and might double. Plan accordingly.

If going by taxi
Taxi service is readily available. Taxis are stationed at the entrance to the Georgia Tech Hotel, adjacent to the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center. The fare to the airport is a flat rate of $32 for one passenger. Additional passengers are charged a small fee. See our concierge or the Georgia Tech Hotel’s concierge if you need further assistance.
