Defense Technology Training

Certificates

Georgia Tech Defense Technology certificates are a recognized standard in the defense industry. Our certificates document an educated and competent workforce, which makes companies more competitive. A company's investment in employee training and development can enhance its image among clients and job candidates.

Scientists and engineers who conduct state-of-the-art classified research at Georgia Tech will help you achieve the following:

  • Industry expertise
  • Government and industry contacts
  • Career advancement

Flexible learning environments and course locations make this easy. Students are automatically enrolled to pursue their certificate upon registering for their first course. Each certificate requires a number of core courses and electives, many offered at least twice during the year.

"Professional certificates relating to course concentration are far more valuable than just taking a group of courses."—Ben Buenviaje, Radar Systems certificate recipient and engineer, U.S. Dept. of Navy

Time Requirement

All requirements for a professional certificate must be completed within six years from the date of completion for the first course taken that is applied toward the certificate.
