Course fee includes required OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Safety Standard.  If you already have a copy, you can register using the alternate course fee rate (without the book), but be sure to bring your copy to class.

Participants must pass a multiple-choice test to successfully complete this course.

Identification Required

Participants must present photo identification upon course check-in and onsite registration. The Georgia Tech OSHA Training Institute Education Center will verify the identity of each individual attending an OTI course.

Course Description

Get an overview of OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards, with special emphasis placed on the most hazardous areas, while using OSHA standards as a guide. Participants must pass a multiple-choice test to successfully complete this course.

This course is the prerequisite to the OSHA 501 course.
