The course is an introduction to the concepts, methods and approaches used for reducing the amount of time required to "change over" a resource and includes a hands-on simulation. Presentation content has been modified with healthcare examples and terminology. A healthcare specific simulation of an Operating Room environment has been created by adapting the current Lean Set-up Reduction simulation.

This course may be applied toward completion of the Lean Healthcare Certificate.
