Course Description
The Basic Economic Development Course (BEDC) is the first step on the professional track of an economic developer. This course provides a substantial introduction to the core topic areas that make up comprehensive economic development, as well as insight on trends impacting the profession and practice of economic development. The BEDC is typically shaped around the following broad themes:
