OSHA 502: Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers

Important Course Information

Remote Delivery course registration is restricted to individuals that work and reside in OSHA Region IV (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee). Individuals who register and identify that they do not reside or work in Region IV, will have their registration cancelled and moved to a face to face offering of their choice. Participants will be required to present an ID at the beginning of class via webcam to verify their identity. 

Prior to registration, login to your existing GTPE account or create a new GTPE account:

  • Select "Click Here to Login" button next to the desired course section or

  • Select "Sign In" located at the top right corner of this page

    • Note: if you see the words "My Account" on the top right corner of the page, you are logged in and should see a "Request Approval" button in the section table below

  • Click "Request Approval" button next to the desired course section

  • Upload required documents and submit for approval

    • Note: If you see a "register" button below, it indicates you have requested and been approved to register for that particular section

  • Current version of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety Standard. Can be found on www.osha.gov or purchased through an online retailor.
  • Current trainer card or transcript of last OSHA 500 or OSHA 502 course completed (as part of the prerequisite process referenced above).

Recommended

  • Laptop computer and/or flash drive with training material to facilitate class presentation.
