Today's manufacturing leaders are tasked with coaching, leading, and inspiring their teams to achieve organizational goals. While many of these leaders have the technical background required for the role, many feel they need to expand upon their soft skills to become an effective leader in their organization.

The Manufacturing Leadership Certificate offered by Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) was created to address specific areas such as creating effective leadership practices, building and engaging leadership teams, creating the right metrics, developing efficient project management skills, and learning current technology applications. The result has led to on-demand skills that can be applied immediately upon completion.

"I not only learned the importance of good communication, well-defined processes, and employee engagement, but I learned how to be a good communicator, a leader for process improvement, and how to engage my team so voices are heard," said Chantrey Reece, the first recipient of the Manufacturing Leadership Certificate.
