Course Description

WebLOCI™ and its predecessor, LOCI™, is a web-based tool for local fiscal impact analysis that helps local governments understand the impact of financial incentives on their bottom line. The tool can be used for new or expanding companies. If you haven't been exposed to fiscal impact analysis, this course will provide you with a basic understanding of what this kind of analysis will tell you, how you can use it to help your community negotiate with prospects, and how to integrate WebLOCI into your strategic planning.

How You Will Benefit

Learn to:

  • Understand the general theory of fiscal and economic impact analysis
  • Develop your WebLOCI community data profile
  • Determine data sources for community and project data profiles
  • Better understand your community through a data profile
  • Interpret results from the analyses

Course Materials

Attendees will each receive a copy of the course manual.
