ALR - 69 EID Format/ Structure

Course Description

In order to develop mission data for the ALR-69 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), the mission data engineer must understand all data elements contained in the ALR-69 Emitter Identification Data (EID) tables and how the ALR-69 operational software uses those elements. This course first introduces you to the fundamental concepts such as microprocessors, radar waveforms, and general RWR operation. This course then discusses the ALR-69 hardware and the roles the hardware plays in collecting data for processing by the software. Finally, it addresses details of all tables in the ALR-69 EID Tables, drilling down into descriptions of each data element and how the operational software uses that element. You will gain an understanding of high-level architecture of ALR-69 operational software and mission data file.
