Course Description
FalconView™ provides access to a wide variety of map and geospatial data. Learn to integrate application with the FalconView map catalog and other data interfaces supported by FalconView™.

Course Materials
Participants receive copies of course, lab materials, and FalconView™ API documentation.
Participants should bring Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS)/FalconView installed on a laptop. Non-Department of Defense students can obtain a commercial release of FalconView through Georgia Tech Technology Licensing. Please note: route planning is not included in the commercial version). Developers need laptops with their preferred development environment installed.
Microsoft VS2005 will be used during the course for examples. Commonly supported languages are C++, C# .Net, VB, and VB .Net via COM and .Net interfaces.
Prerequisites
Participants should take Introduction to FalconView™: Basic Operations and
Creating Integrated Overlays in FalconView™ before taking this course. Knowledge of CJMTK/ESRI ArcMap is recommended.
Certificates
This course is an elective for the FalconView™ Developers Certificate.
Security Requirements
Participants must be employees of either U.S. Government agencies or their contractors as well as be U.S. citizens. To meet this requirement, you must submit the Access Eligibility Form.
Instructor
Daniel Longhurst is a Senior Developer in the FalconView™ and JMPS mission planing programs joining the team in 2000. Daniel previously taught computer programing at the MS and BS level at Southern Polytechnic State University and Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
