SCUBA Diver 1: Introduction to Open Water Diving (REC 1100P)
 This is an entry-level course for people who have not been previously certified to SCUBA dive. Certification is offered through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). SCUBA Diver Refresher (REC 1190P)
 Tune up your SCUBA skills! This course is intended for certified divers who have not been diving in more than 12 months, or who have not previously participated in a Georgia Tech SCUBA class. Course content includes a review of diving equipment, physiology and planning with tables. A pool practice session is also included. (Note: this is not a certification class). Diving Emergency Management Provider (REC 1200P)

Marine Life First Aid (REC 1220P)
 Marine Life First Aid is a practical, hands-on course that teaches divers how to minimize the effects of unexpected encounters with hazardous marine life. It covers assessment and basic first aid treatment for injuries from jellyfish, fire coral, and many other venomous marine creatures. Oxygen Provider (REC 1210P)
 Oxygen is the single most important form of treatment for almost any diving-related injury. Participants in this skill-intensive course will learn about the causes, signs, and symptoms of decompression illness, as well as methods for providing vital Oxygen first aid to an injured SCUBA diver. Dive Leader 1: SCUBA Training Assistant (REC 1900P)
 Entry-level leadership course that qualifies certified divers to begin assisting with an Open Water SCUBA training program. Participants will learn about the organization, administration, and management of an Open Water SCUBA course, including both classroom and pool training. Upon successful completion of this course: students will receive the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Equipment Specialist certification and a PSI certification for "Fill Station Operator ". Rescue Diver 1: SCUBA Lifesaving and Accident Management (REC 1320P)
 Rescue Diver 1 covers techniques for managing SCUBA emergencies and diving-related accidents. Participants will learn to recognize and avoid situations in which a SCUBA rescue may be needed, as well as techniques for dealing with the consequences of a SCUBA diving accident or injury when it occurs. SCUBA Diver 2: Advancing into Diving (REC 1300P)
 SCUBA Diver 2 prepares certified divers for their Advanced Open Water and/or Nitrox Certifications as well as specialty certification in Peak Buoyancy. This course allows participants to increase their level of knowledge and understanding about themselves and their diving. Participants who successfully complete this course and the associated Open Water Certification experience will receive PADI certification(s) in: "Advanced Open Water", "Enriched Air/Nitrox" and "Peak Buoyancy" specialty.
